KingstonOctober 16 - The Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport has said, “It is nothing short of an excellent performance when the Sunshine Girls can make it a clean sweep in back-to-back netball series.”

Minister Grange’s comment came as she congratulated the Sunshine Girls for winning the just-concluded series against England and against Trinidad and Tobago without losing a match.

“This performance certainly will boost the confidence of the Sunshine Girls going into the Fast Five Tournament in Australia later this month and the Netball World Cup next year and we look forward to the winner’s trophy from one of if not the two tournaments.”

The Sport Minister said the coach and support staff of the Sunshine Girls should be commended for their role in “this fine showing by the Sunshine Girls.”
