All set for Reggae Girlz celebrations

Kingston 13 December 2018 – The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, has announced the route for the Motorcade in honour of the Reggae Girlz.

The motorcade will take place on Saturday, 15 December 2018 at the start of four days of celebration announced by the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, for the Reggae Girlz’ historic qualification to the FIFA Women’s World Cup finals.

Minister Grange has invited “all Jamaicans to join us in celebrating with them.”

Civic Ceremony in Sam Sharpe Square – 9:30AM11AM

  • Delegation departs Montego Bay at 11:30AM

Meet and Greet at GC Foster College – 2:30PM3:30PM
Exit GC Foster College and then right onto Brunswick Avenue
Keep on Brunswick Ave then right onto Young Street
Left onto Burke Road and onwards to Mandela Highway through Twickenham Park and Central Village
Through Six Miles and onwards to Washington Boulevard/Dunrobin Avenue
Right onto Constant Spring Road going through Half Way Tree Square

Stop in Half Way Tree Square – 15 Minutes
Onwards to Half Way Tree Road going through Cross Roads
Onwards to Slipe Road
Right at Torrington Bridge and across to Slipe Pen Road
Left onto Rosseau Road
Left onto Beachwood Avenue and onwards to the Tony Spaulding Complex
