China Harbour gives $1 million to Labour Day programme

Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Honourable Olivia Grange poses with a replica cheque for JMD $1,000,000 with Mr Zhishuai Yao, Deputy Manager for Investment and Business at China Harbour Engineering Company. The money was donated by CHEC to assist with national Labour Day projects.  China Harbour will also be undertaking their own projects at Ferry Basic School, Cockburn Gardens Primary and Junior High School and Sandhurst Basic School. Minister Grange thanked Mr Yao for the donation noting that it will go a far way toward making the Labour Day projects a reality. Labour Day will be observed on May 23.
