The Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, has said that the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence is perhaps the most important move made to date in the interest of Jamaica’s football development.

Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, says although Jamaica’s term on the World Heritage Committee is coming to an end, “Jamaica will continue to lobby for Small Island Developing States on matters relating to World Heritage.”

The Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, today told members of Jamaica’s national football team, the Reggae Boyz, that as Minister of Sport, “I will find ways to get improvement to poor playing surfaces and other deficiencies in sports infrastructure.”
