Kingston, 15 December 2025 – The Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, has congratulated the Jamaican international Khadija Shaw, who’s scored 100 goals for her club Manchester City in the United Kingdom.
Shaw scored her hundredth goal for City during Sunday’s 6-1 win over Aston Villa in the Women’s Super League.
She’s the first woman in the professional era to score 100 goals for City.
Minister Grange said it was another “outstanding accomplishment in Bunny Shaw’s career as she continues to demonstrate that she’s one of the best football players in the world. Scoring 100 goals for any team is a major achievement. This is a big deal. Bunny Shaw is a big deal.”
Shaw scored four goals on Sunday to bring her tally for City to 103.
The 28 year old is also Jamaica’s leading goalscorer overall with 57 goals from 44 appearances for the national team.
