Minister Grange said the country has noted steady progress made by Jamaican swimmers in regional and international competition.

“We know that good performance by athletes usually result from good leadership, hard work and dedication.”

The Minister said improvements are expected from a new administration and that she wished Mr. Lyn and his executives well.

The Ministry of Sport, Miss Grange said, will be more than willing to sit with the Aquatic Sports Association “to discuss ways that we can further develop the sport.”
